Founded in 2010, Joyful! Noise Seattle is a non-profit community choir whose mission is to create community through singing and to bring the lessons of joyful community into the world. Partnering with the academic world to support and showcase new composers is part of our outreach. One benefit is that it allows students to work with actual community choirs such as ours so that they can become familiar with the challenges a choir faces when preparing and presenting a new piece.
